In addition to being a wedding photographer, Don has spent a significant portion of his career as a documentary photographer in developing countries, representing the stories of marginalized people through the lens of his camera. In the last several years, Don has traveled to Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Transnistria, Uganda, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and Haiti creating cinematic portraits of people and everyday life.His unique style combines a photojournalist’s unobtrusive presence with a playful participation.
